Join LSR Colombo Marathon 2024
Sri Lanka, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean,” is rapidly emerging as a prime destination for leisure activities. Its tropical climate, pristine beaches, warm Indian Ocean waters, abundant inland water bodies, scenic landscapes, and diverse natural terrain collectively make it one of the premier recreational spots in Asia.
The latest addition to the array of activities available on the island is marathon running. On the horizon looms the LSR International Marathon, now rebranded as the Colombo Marathon. Despite challenging weather conditions, it’s heartening to observe that over 6,500 runners participated, including more than 400 foreigners representing 45 countries. Supported by a dedicated team of over 400 staff, their tireless efforts significantly contributed to the success of the event.
