DESCRIPTION:Join Espoo Rantamaraton 2026 \nEspoo Rantamaraton 2026 is the 19th edition of the popular seaside running event in Espoo\, Finland\, held on Saturday\, 19 September 2026. The event follows the scenic Rantaraitti coastal route and offers distances for different abilities\, including the 42.195 km marathon\, 21.1 km half marathon\, 10K\, timed 5K Rantavitonen and non-timed 5K Ranta Walk. The Children’s Espoo Minimarathon\, with 400 m and 1 km races\, takes place on Friday\, 18 September. \nThe marathon and half-marathon courses showcase Espoo’s coastline and mainly use pedestrian and recreational paths with asphalt\, compact gravel and sandy surfaces. The marathon is completed over two laps\, with the first lap following the half-marathon route. The course is relatively flat and includes several service points along the way. \nParticipants can benefit from electronic timing\, UltimateLIVE results\, GPS tracking\, finisher medals and electronic diplomas. Pacers are available for the marathon and half marathon\, while refreshments and participant support are provided along the course and at the finish. The event centre\, race office and Expo are located at Otahalli Sport Arena near Otaniemi Sports Field and Aalto University. Changing facilities and paid guarded baggage storage are also available. \nThe main races start from 10:30\, with the marathon at 10:50\, half marathon at 12:45 and 12:55\, and the 5K races at 14:00.
